Pedaver — The Transformative ProducerPQNK — The Science of Natural Farming

Crops & Solutions

One natural production system, expressed across more than twenty crops, climates and soils. Explore our flagship guides below, with more added regularly.

One PQNK System. Every Crop.

PQNK reproduces the operating conditions through which natural ecosystems sustain plant production: undisturbed soil, no inundation, permanent biological cover, and maximum biodiversity. Because those principles are biological rather than geographic, PQNK is a production-agriculture system in general, food, feed, fiber and timber alike, not a method built around a fixed list of crops. The guides below document that versatility across more than twenty crops and conditions so far; they are evidence of how the system performs, not the limit of where it applies. The crop changes. The climate changes. The engineering configuration may change. The underlying principles do not. Pakistan is where most of this evidence has been documented to date, an important record of results, not a boundary on the system's reach. Each crop guide below explains what is specific to that crop; the shared foundation, including the four governing principles, is explained once.

More Crops Under PQNK

Vegetables & Tubers

Potato

A production and economics comparison: mulch-based no-till planting versus conventional deep-burial ridging.

Fruits & Orchards

Mango

Post-harvest handling advisory and pruning guidance, drawn from real farmer questions on our WhatsApp learning group.

Fruits & Orchards

Banana

Grown successfully through extreme cold and heat in the Nainital foothills: proof that banana is soil-limited, not climate-limited.

Fruits & Orchards

Olive

Two orchard paths under PQNK: high-density irrigated planting, or a clever rainwater-harvesting system for dry, sloping land.

Cash & Specialty Crops

Rose

A perennial cash flower crop grown through PQNK's closed-loop, no-external-input system.

Cash & Specialty Crops

Chilli

A rediscovered perennial: chilli can keep fruiting for a decade or more once soil biology, not chemistry, is restored.

Vegetables & Tubers

Onion & Garlic

Raised beds enabling 4x planting density, with real farmers reporting yields several times higher than flat-field cultivation.

Cash & Specialty Crops

Black Carrot

Grown under contract farming for nutraceutical anthocyanin extraction, with quality tuned through cold and mild water stress.

Fruits & Orchards

Amla

High-density amla orchards using a closed-loop, zero-external-input system, including a one-time acid correction step.

Timber & Perennial Systems

Bamboo

A commercial factsheet crop: 60–100 years of productive life from one planting, at 6–15 tons of biomass per acre per year.

Cash & Specialty Crops

Castor

High-density medicinal crop, delivering 6–12 harvests from a single 3–5 year planting.

Fruits & Orchards

Watermelon

A deliberate trade: PQNK watermelon takes longer to mature, in exchange for higher natural sugar content and longer shelf life.

Soil & Land Management

Motha Grass

Reframing a "cancer weed": motha grass is a soil-emergency indicator, not an enemy to be sprayed.

Timber & Perennial Systems

Agroforestry

Reframing Eucalyptus: soil biology, not species choice, decides whether a tree helps or harms the land.

Vegetables & Tubers

Vegetables — One Acre Prosperity

A PQNK guide for smallholders growing vegetables on small plots, including circular production cropping plans.
